Answers to some of our FAQ's

Is the Golf Course open for golf?

Yes! The Golf Course is open for public golf and season pass holders! The Pro Shop is closed but we are still providing drink and snack options to go outside the door.

How can I sign up for a season pass?

A season pass form is available here and can be filled out and dropped off to the Pro Shop when open, or City Hall / Parks and Rec. Payments can also be made to the Pro Shop, City Hall, or Parks and Rec until the online payment options are fully functioning. Contact the Shenandoah Parks and Rec or Pro Shop to discuss payment options. For the time being we will just need a form and additional details can be worked out.

What adjustments are you making to adhere to recommendations for social distancing and the Covid-19 guidelines?

No individuals are allowed in the Pro Shop. We are offering items to go and carry out from a table setup outside the door. We are allowing only one rider per golf cart rented from the Golf Course. There is no congregating allowed inside the Pro Shop or outside on the deck area. We have added some PVC piping which elevates the ball and allows you to remove the ball from the hole without touching the hole or flagstick. We are suggesting all golfers leave the flagstick in the hole at all times. We have also removed all ball washers from the grounds. The safety of all of our golfers and families is of the utmost importance and we encourage all to also follow all social distancing suggestions while on the Golf Course.

When will Golf League, Tournaments, and other events be released?

Due to the rapidly changing requirements involving group gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are not releasing the annual Golf Calendar at this time. We will work diligently and contact all scheduled events as soon as such events are allowed - and work to reschedule those and fit as many events as we can into our golf season whenever that is again possible. Check our Facebook page (https://facebook.com/shengolf) or here for updates and announcements.

We appreciate all of your support, patience, and understanding! This transition has not been easy and we are learning as we go. The current state of world affairs has added to an already challenging step for the future of our Golf Course. We are so thankful to our public golfers and season pass holders for their support and we will continue to rely heavily on all of you as we work together to make our Golf Course and facility a success!
